Heavy Tile
The heavy thatch tile is a denser tile, it’s biding strip is 30 mm wide, and contains more Cape reed than a standard tile. This allows for better “fanning out” at the top of a circular structure. The heavy tile is used to cover the top 2 rows of a circular structure – just below the top cone. They are available with clips for fastening to our metal circular and oval roof frame or without clips for installation on a wooden frame.
Structures require approximately 4 tiles to cover one square metre.
